  UP Tomo-Kai, formally known as the UP Philippines-Japan Friendship Club, proudly announces the celebration of its 36th anniversary. This year’s theme, “美月 (MiTsuki): A SalaMatsuri of Moonlit Reverie,” is inspired by the Japanese Tsukimi (月見) or moon-viewing festival, symbolizing gratitude for the bountiful years of friendship and cultural exchange that have shaped the organization since its founding in 1990. The anniversary will be a two-week celebration held from May 5 to 15 at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Featuring cultural exhibits and festivities, MiTsuki highlights the enduring bond between the Philippines and Japan while honoring theorganization’s rich history and growing community.
