This year’s theme, “美月 (MiTsuki): A SalaMatsuri of Moonlit Reverie,” is inspired by the Japanese Tsukimi (月見) or moon-viewing festival, symbolizing gratitude for the bountiful years of friendship and cultural exchange that have shaped the organization since its founding in 1990. The anniversary will be a two-week celebration held from May 5 to 15 at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
