A LOOK BACK: CosplayPH’s FanFes 2025 Refreshes The Otaku Spirit
May 17-18, 2025, MAKATI - CosplayPH gives the Metro Manila otaku scene an incredibly chill time in the summer heat. FanFes is where creators and cosplayers are given the avenue to connect and even bond in a comfortable setting.
The 2-day event has enticed a big chunk of con-going regulars. Cosplayers ranged from game characters to comic favorites. The main highlight of the event was its “Summer Spectacular” theme, cascading this to the “Sun and Sea Cosplay Contest.” Invited to join Special guest was cosplayer Rithe from Singapore.
Aside from the Activities included a stamp rally - doing various simple activities for a stamp. Collecting all six stamps from various participating booths (Brother, PUBG, Mobile Legends, among others) will win you a prize!
Attendees have also been marveled by guest segments with Rithe, performances by Ziuu and Cinque, along with the usual program staples of Cosplay Auction, AniSong Unleashed, and FacePalm the Music.

A noticeable improvement from previous conventions was how the Artist’s Alley has a larger area for foot traffic. This has long been a concern among artists and creators, so it’s a breath of fresh air to see the booths with more space. Another upgrade from the usual con chaos was the provision of chairs for the outside resting area, near the food concessionaires.
Overall, the event is a prelude to even more exhilarating Cosplay.ph events in 2025! This year’s ACX details were announced, much to the excitement of the con-going crowd. See you at the next event!
