AFAID25 Exclusive Preview: Meizu × Shadow Corridor Debuts in Indonesia

Jakarta – Saturday, June 7, 2025 – Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2025 (#AFAID25) turns up the excitement with a chilling new attraction: “MEIZU x SHADOW WARRIOR.” This free haunted house experience, open to all AFAID25 ticket holders, will run from June 6 to 8 at Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center.

The attraction is a unique hybrid of a Japanese haunted house and maze-like escape room, inspired by the acclaimed horror game Shadow Corridor. For the first time in Indonesia, visitors can immerse themselves in one of Japan’s most gripping horror experiences.

What is OBAKEN?

OBAKEN is a horror entertainment group based in Honancho, Tokyo, renowned for creating immersive haunted house experiences that place visitors at the center of a horror story. Since its founding in 2012, OBAKEN has produced highly realistic haunted attractions, theatrical performances, and game collaborations both in Japan and internationally.

Using a deep understanding of player psychology, lighting, sound, and stagecraft, OBAKEN specializes in plot-driven horror that goes far beyond mere jump scares.

About Meizu x Shadow Corridor

Shadow Corridor is a 3D Japanese horror game by Kazuki Shiroma, praised for its eerie maze design and psychological terror. Meizu x Shadow Corridor brings this game to life — blurring the line between game and reality as players are plunged into a terrifying world.

The Storyline:

Plagued by recurring nightmares and unexplainable fear, you seek help from a mysterious doctor. Inside his dim, eerie clinic, he advises you to confront the nightmare head-on. As he chants an incomprehensible incantation, your vision warps and sounds fade — thrusting you into a twisted, hospital-like maze.
